Long overdue update.... Finally got my brakes finished this week thanks to a late night at Fred's workshop. When changing my discs and pads a couple of weeks back, there were no problems, but when trying to disconnect one of the brake hoses from the brake line, the nut holding it together...

Cheaper and easier to just buy a new caliper if that's what needed. Calipers, discs, pads, lines and fluid should set you back about £300ish (depending on the exact set up you for for) and obviously free labour if you fit them yourself. Must be half the price of 4 pots?

I haven't seen one of them dirt cheap batteries for yonks. I think the cheapest battery we sell is an 063 for about 30 quid.

about £25 a side from GSF for OE manufacturer Ruville, that includes the top bearing aswell.

gsf can supply a nissens one, i'd have to check part number/price if your interested. which model is yours?

have you checked to make sure all of the leads are connected to the plugs and the coil pack correctly? just a thought, something to rule out.

yeah give or take £30 for a diagnostic report to be done. will tell you what's wrong.

probably something to do with the lambda sensor. try changing the front of cat lambda, cost approx 60-70 quid. this normally helps.
