Try Litchfield Imports. EVO ran an article on the new Type R a while back. They import it very bare though, no carpet etc... but all for 15-16k, cant be bad.
Litchfield do the new Spec C Impreza to.
Just fitted my sony head unit, minidisc, great. But its very tight when it finally clicks in. Ive noticed an extrusion at the back of the appliture which might be causing this but not sure.
Has anyone else fitted a sony head unit? I have noticed in the clio options brochure, they used a sony...
I recently had my front tyres replace on my cup. The same contis were fitted but they look slightly different. I have checked all the numbers, profile etc... and theyre exactly the same as the originals in the rear.
It may be because they have full tread but they dont look as square head-on...
Whats the general thoughts on the standard ContiSportContacts? I havent had a problem with them but I know Ill have to change all 4 next time round having just fitted new ones on the front.
What are the other options, Ive heard a lot about the Eagle F1s but arent they pricey?
How much is it costing and have you taken it to a renault bodyshop? my cup needs the chips and door dings taking out. any idea on what this might cost?
Ive got a CUP with a number of chips of the bonnet (shouldnt be there Im sure!) and renault wont do a warranty job on them. So, the only 2 routes that I know how to take is either Chips Away or put it through my local renault dealers body shop.
If anyone has had any experience of this, please...
Im looking to lower my cup, not for looks but to improve the fun if you know what I mean? Do I go for the pricier Eibachs, how much do I lower by, are there better garages to go to to get it dont?
Also, mainly, will it rub at all? I hardly ever have 3 in the car but you never know, there are...

You should buy a cup. Mine never gets dirty and I want it to be...just like an EVO fast fleeter.
It must have something to do with my sad obsession with the WRC.
Thanks mate,
I thought i might have to keep pushing but due to my last car, and the problems i had, ive sort of given up on moaning (very very immensly long story invoving a ford focus!!). Silly really, i should give em sh*t.
I need 2 car park door dents sorting aswell, might get them all...
Following on from MAC3OLs topic regarding his jack etc... You said you had your bonnet painted.
With this in mind, after about 1-2 months of having my cup, i got quite a few big stone chips on my bonnet. has anyone else suffered from bad paintwork?
So, i took it to the nearest renault...
I took my Cup on a renault track day back in june, and i must say pushed it as far as i could. although, one of their drivers took me round in a cup and f**k me, they know what theyre doing. what a job to have.
i also confess to over running into the grass, with someone directly behind me...
Sounds good to me, mines due in 1500 miles and my local dealer quoted me £176 for the 12000 mile service. shame Taunton is bloody miles away from hertfordshire!
My pads still look good and Ive been on a trackday, although i have just had new tyres fitted but the back ones are ok.
Car dealers will and always bee the same. I have a whole folder of letters and RAC documents etc... for my last car. Supposedly the safest TUV tested ford focus.
So I move to renault. Although the service has been much better, Ive had a couple of hiccups. A bolt fell out my alternator tension...
Was anyone on the Renault trackday back in June on the 27th? I was chatting to a couple of people about the K-TEC Racing twin exhausts.
But being the goldfish Iam, cant remember what was said about them!!
Are they worth it or is it just a noise and cosmetic thing? Also, a couple of cups...
All i can say is read all possible reviews on the Cup in EVO magazine. Theyve got an individual cult status i think.
Ive had a go in both, and i noticed a difference. Its up to you whether you want the toys or not?
Blimey, what have you been doing to your cup, needs oil after 4000 miles, have you done a track day every week?
i did change the oil at 1500 just to be over safe.
Renault told me semi-synthetic 10 W 40 castrol GTX. i did ask why not ELF, like whats advertised on the rear window and they...
Does anyone know if you can fit standard Sparcos in a Cup? Ive had a look at some of their seats and they look pretty good.
I used to have Cobra seats in my Focus and they were comfortable, Im sure Sparco are just as good.
Does anyone know when R-Sport will be releasing the optional extras for the cup that all the dealers (and the brochure) promises?
I have phoned them and they basically said i have to have a seat made to fit me. I was thinking that they were going to make a nice sparco type blue alacantara...
Yeah, mines been a bit different, especially when the temp. said 38 the other day!
Shes due for a first service soon, £176.48 they want, bit steep. But, hopefully another oil change will be good?
