did you dry them properly with a hot air gun or something? as if you didnt ide bet no way will they have cured properly and the dust will have sunk into the top layer

if you want it done properly the areas will be sanded down, primed and then you will have colour to these the red lines ive drew on, then the entire door and rear quarter will be painted (not the bottoms though below side strips). quarter has to be painted for the metallic colour match. you...

ive painted more things than i can remember with aerosols and had no problems whatsoever apart from the odd reaction/colour match.

just looks like 2 different pictures on 2 different cameras. im sure you did a good job, but you cant compare before/after with those pictures :S

how big are the inserts? im colour coding some stuff on my moms car atm, wing mirrors, side strips, fog surrounds etc. i aint using plastic primer on those as they aint that big. ill just be sanding them down, spraying with some aersol high build primer, sand that down, basecoat, let it dry...
