Very as far as I'm aware. You have an account which you log into with your email and a password. You then assign as many computers to this account as you want, but to log into any of the computers, you need to enter your windows username and password.

I'd say yours has been out before, probably decided that as the existing bolts were rounding off like a madman, to replace them with head headed ones.
