i supplied 2x the same part number to caistor off here a few weeks back, no problems there as far as i know and they were the same part number too. meg coupe one's i gave him.
something like that should be suitable enough for heating up the metal area you need to. also ideal for heating up stubborn bolts.

just had a quick look at the dialogys, seems to be at the front of the fuel tank, possibly a strap holding it to the side of it?
i imagine you would clamp the fuel lines, pop the filter out, new one in, and reconnect lines. something along them lines - someone will be along soon enough to...
I've got a set of Bilstein B14 Coilovers waiting to go on my 172 soon, and I know that they will be fine to go on for now using the original strut bolts.
But..when the car goes to be set up I'm aware I'll need camber bolts fitted.
Will these be ok for use with the Bilstein coilovers...
