You'd have a hard time damaging paint applying SRP by hand (presuming good decon and prep).
If you wanna keep it that way, have a gander around the site for polishes people recommend that have endurance, although SRP by hand is actually a lot better than many give it credit for, certainly for...
1l Iron X
CarPro Merino Wash Mitt
100ml Hydro 2
2 AF Revitalise Spot Pads to go with the DAS6 Pro and Revitalise kit I bought from someone on here.
AF Pad Prime
AF Glide
AF Clay Bar
AF Detailing Tape
Only problem is, for £13k, wouldn't you just buy a 250 because it's a better car? You could get a nice one with Recaro's for 13k.
Guy on here wanted 10k for his LY F1 197, with 250 conversion and lots of other nice mods, much better value imo, would've taken offers too below 10k as far as I'm...
It's the little things...
Alcantara bits, the a-pillars make a huge difference. You can see my horrible steering wheel, and that I need a bit of a hoover inside. Would like a darker headlining, and then a darker courtesy light surrounds and visors, forever chasing the bits where Renault...
Some of the roads around Shaftesbury are incredible, when I went to pick up my wheels from Dan@SJM the drive back was one of the most fun drives I've ever had, from his unit until like the other end of Shaftesbury was just back roads that were empty.
Haha, not expecting a video, just every one I look at has reviews saying "no suction" etc, and it's hard to know whether that's just people with too high expectations. Haven't found one yet below £100 that doesn't have reviews all across the range from 1 to 5 stars, so it's hard to really see...
Does it get the little stones etc that you find in a car footwell over time?
It'll mainly be for clearing up the crumbs around the food recycling bin and a quick going over of the car and little corners in house. No intention of hoovering the carpet in the house with it really.
Good to see you rate a relatively cheap one, I'd be happy to pay £35, I'm not expecting it to replace Henry, just to clear up little bits that appear here and there.
Really want it to be cordless, so I can just pick it up and have it anywhere, I appreciate this might mean less suction power...
Anyone got any suggestions? I figure you get what you pay for, and I don't want to be frustrated by something with little suction.
Will just be used for little bits, around the house, in the car etc when I can't be bothered to get Henry out.
Cleaning has been neglected by me for some time, so I need to do a full job, I've used Iron X, Bilt Hamber soft clay, etc, so I'll be sticking to that stuff for the decontamination, it's just the polishing and finishing, even more so now using a DA that I have no experience with.
Just got a Das-6 Pro with AF kit from a member off here. Gonna be needing some advice.
Is the AF kit good? How do I go about cleaning pads after use? Should I look at getting some new pads, if so which ones?
Thanks.
