Not to bad, the engine is coming along, Craig at AP developments has it atm.
Tbh im hardly involved with it, because im busy with my final year at uni. Carl is more involved i just hear about it now and again. Wish i was more involved though.
Used to use parada spec 2, they are no where near R888s on track. They are not made for track so although they are cheap they only last 1/2 as long if that.
I wouldnt go back to parada spec 2s personally.
The other way to look at it is.
If you pay £2900
Thats - £7.95 a Day for insurance alone.
Or 36P for every mile you drive (if you drive 8k a year)
+ petrol + Tax + running costs.
But that wasnt the point the point was he had 172 which was "fast" but now he has something "extremely fast" and a lot more desirable. Yet its cheaper to insure.
Same way i can insure alot of nicer car than a clio for example TVRs  For the same price i pay on the Clio.
Clios are Very...
Buy a Mk1 Focus RS, they are cheaper to insure than a 1*2. My brother (hes 19) got 35Quid back when he swapped his insurance from a 172 to his MK1 Focus RS.
Tbh i think you d ruin the car on the road fitting coilovers, sure you may improve the look. But it will be stiffer etc which is not great for the road.
Im sure theres a set of a coilovers thats a compromise for road and track for the 200 but its exactly that a compromise. You could potentially...
It very hard to tell how much you save, some items you save 1 or 2 pence, others you save a lot.

Not if your staff and you know where to order things from, or when things are going Obserlite "spelling" Used to get some good bargain. My brother still work there part time and gets all sorts cheap. Even got a removable steering bose for like 4quid.
You just need to know where to get the...

But for everything else i had a staff discount card or got managers discount :D
Re: One Year on & £**** spent
Great if you car is a Proper track car but if you have to use it on the Road or leave it out of sight there a bad idea.
Other thing with them is they scratch so easily, we have the rear screen from Plastic4preformance and its got marks on it. Luckily our side...
Dont think Trophys would have looked great in white i can see the reason why they might have choosen white but the MK2 Clio doesnt have the likes to pull of white.
I like the Red or maybe if they had done them im this colour
The 200 i drove was miles better qualitly than my 182, but saying that it had done hardly any miles.
They have stepped their game up alot in the newer cars.
The melting wheel is still a issue but its not one that bothers me a great deal because alot of companies have the same issue. (my...
So many variables, like the main one what are you planning to use the car for?
there thousands of these threads and they always get locked.
ITB'd route is the most expensive to get "big" power from.
So you dont own a car then, sure you mam likes modding her car.
So really the title should be "you look how cheap my mam can insure HER clio"
Well Done.
But your only a named driver, which means the policy is not in your name.
Which means your not generating NCB. so in turn will be out of pocket in the long run.
Also is the car your mams? does she drive it most?...Fronting much.
