We ran a Standard clutch in our car with a Quaife LSD its been fine, our car is ITBd (so 200HP +) Only used for track days so it takes lots of abuse and has held up.
Most ITB'd cars end up been returned to standard and the ITB kit sold individually. They are worth more like this and the Kit is very easy to Fit/Remove so its easy enough.
The do come up for sale every so often though.
Re: PH1 172 Track Car, abit special *ITB update*
Our usual Croft day on the 31st May and the RSOC day on the 6th of June.
Not really booking many in advanced because after May i Graduate and have no idea how things will turn out. Ie getting a job/job searching ect.
Theres not alot designers can do currently , they have to meet all the rules and regs for new cars, so cars especially in the "High production" class are becoming very generic because of all the safety laws.
Soon the only think that will be different will be the badge and it wouldn't suprise me...

Spoke to Carl today, the bottom end is buit. Waiting for the Head to come back. I think it will be put together over Carls Half term Break. Its down to him though because im busy preparing for my Degree show in June.
The younger lads do it, because its cheaper than insuring a RS, My brother did it to his 1.2, it was a project he enjoyed doing it. It gave him something to work on. Also he sold the Car very easily and he didnt loose a great deal of money on in.
But you could say in the same agruement its...
Wasnt sure at first, but the twingo looks sweet there.
The 200 is nice, but it looks really cheap compared to the twingo and S3. Guessing its because its a white one.
Well done with it finish looks good and i understand all the work you put in.
However Doesnt do anything for me in white, White is nice on cars with strong lines. There arent really any lines that are strong enough to pull of white in the clio for me.
Remove the graphics, remove the window tints, Replace the wheels with something decent in a 16 because those are to big. Find a tasteful Exhaust.
Then colour code the bumper plastics and maybe a set of Xenons form a 1*2.
All hot hatchs have bumpy susepension when you compare them to "normal" cars, Its so they have a sportier feel and drive. If you dont want a bumpy ride dont buy a hot hatch buy something more else.
The Clio is generally not to bumpy, have you checked your rear shocks because these may be...
Basic bucket seats are usually very uncomfortable, for example we bought a set of Corbreau Forza (the cheap ones) and Sabelt hasness. The seats were relatively heavy and Very uncomfortable.
Our new Cobra is much more comfortable but unpractical.
The ones JMS offer, look very good and people...
