I always park in the quietest area of the supermarket etc which is almost always the furthest away as people are lazy.
Another option is parking next to plant beds/features so your car only gets bashed/dinged on one side.
I agree on the point that you can have lots of fum in a 1.2 but I'm not sure we all corner at the same speeds !
I went for a 'spirited' drive yesterday in the wet....hit the limiter a couple of times and got sideways....the traction control light came on:)
lol
Never really had many problems with people trying it on when I'm in the 172
Used to get lots of s**t when I had my Impreza and some persistent f**kers had to be swifly dealt with lol
The 'crash' on 172 prices is depressing isn't it:(
I have toyed with the idea of selling up and moving to something a bit more sensible (Golf V5, GTi) but I'd have to add so much money on top of the price I'd get for the Clio to get anything decent.
My car has low miles (20k for a 2002 car)...
Nice one on the 197 purchase:D
I'm a big fan of the 197....definately progression in looks and probably performance (driven by average joe on normal roads).
Not keen on the look of that but would obviously look better colour matched to the car.
TBH messing about with vents and scoops can have the opposite effect sometimes creating hotspots under the bonnet.
