Yep
And you'll have the transmission and handling to deal with it as well:D
Sorry but I think turbochrging a Clio is a pretty mad idea....must be an absolute handful in the wet
It's wierd how things come full circle
When I started driving I used to see loads of R5GTTs around all modified (badly)....they were almost as common as saxos are now and not really that cool.
Nowadays if you do spot one which is pretty rare and in standard trim it's a pretty cool car and...
I'm very surprised at that....I'm sure my old Renault 19 16v was a higher group than that.
Oh well, at least the 172/182 is a higher insurance group so will stay more out of reach of the scrotes.
I always remember the 5GTT being one of the cars to have back when I started driving....I always dreamed of owning one but ended up in a Peugeot 205 GTi !
2002 172, 20k on the clock
Good condition bar the odd stone chip and wheel scuff.....sort of stuff you're likely to expect on a 5yr old car
Interior is is perfect condition
Good pics above...the 197 looks the business:D
Yeah..the 182 Vs 197 thread is a real chesnut....I'm sure the debate will have to be raised again when or if teh 197 cup comes out.
Christ....hope you can get it sorted or a good payout from the insurance.
I see a lot of people have lost the use of their indicators these days and a few brain cells:(
