For me, I think meets might be more tempting if there were deal sweetners... Not everyone is happy standing in a carpark chatting rubbish. Some of the best meets I've been to have involved photoshoots, karting and countryside drives. All easy enough to organise.
Some really nice photos in here, and it makes me wish I owned a Renault lol.
Does the cabriolet Meg belong to Jase from Clio197.net? The plate looks familiar.
Thing is, they might be 'retro cool' now but back then they were just sh*t cars. I loved the independence mine gave me and it wasn't particularly slow either, but everyone took the p*ss because I drove a Metro (usually pedestrians lol)
I hear what you're saying and partly agree... In reality most sporty cars shortcomings are only brought to light on-track, and even then most drivers don't exploit their cars limitations. If we were all so serious about reaping maxing rewards from driving our cars we'd all buy super expensive...
To be honest I haven't owned many cars that the average Joe would consider 'cool', however my MG Metro was probably the most embarrassing...
That would be 1999 and probably the only time I washed it, hence the picture.
I think it's going to be amazing... It looks brilliant and and if Honda produce the goods it'll be the benchmark of the new breed of hot hatches.
Why people think it looks too shouty is beyond me.
Re: My track only Monaco (lots of pics).
Looks great after your bit of TLC!
Absolutely hate standard 172 rims and always will :dapprove:
Other than that, I love it... Looking forward to seeing you out on track soon :)
If you were with Riad last year I probably saw you... I'd have gone again yesterday but I forgot about it, but it looks pretty memorable for you guys lol.
