I think people get 'discussion' and 'argument' mixed up too often on here.

It's not hard to speed a video up a touch. Oh, and I have been in a Westfield on track. Like I've already said I'm not claiming it is sped-up, I'm saying it looks like it is.

The difference is that we're only saying that it looks sped-up as apposed to another member claiming that he knows it isn't.

So if you've been in a Westfield you're qualified on frames-per-second judgement?

Love that video, but as Pacman points out it's a little on the wild side for a trackday. That's not me being a killjoy either as I've seen a few black flags myself on trackdays. Definitely an awesome piece of machinery going like the clappers, and fair play to Porkie trying his best to tame it.

Welcome, Phil! I'm nearly 34 and still riding BMX bikes, and I'm also shopping for my 5th Clio too! CS is a great forum, plenty of nice guys and nobs keeping the place interesting lol.

Thing is... I think cars like these need to look aggressive and shouty. That's the type of car they are. I'd personally rather have the new Type-R over an Audi A3 any day of the week. (Providing the new Type-R is a good car, as I'm sure it will be!)

From my experience, if someone's prepared to lie about mileage, service history and condition then they'll be prepared to lie about absolutely anything. I'd never buy a car from an obvious liar, no matter how cheap it was.

I went round an island on Saturday in a car with brand new NS-2's. Was not impressed.

Very scary! Back in my not-so-sensible days I was flat-out in my 172 on the M54 when the front offside tyre blew off the rim. I was very lucky to keep it under control!
