That looks pretty neat. It is unusual that no one has started manufacturing supercharger conversions for the 172/182 like the Jackson racing one for the CTR.

If it makes a difference it won't be noticeable behind the wheel. Only real reason to remove it is if your fitting an induction kit and need to get some hosing down there to the foglight etc.

Lets be honest...it makes f-all difference performance wise wether it's removed or not.

I think a lot of 172/182 owners are going straight to the RS Megane instead of the 197....shame really as the 197 is such a lovely looking car. I have never driven a 197 so can't comment on the performance though.

I don't see how the Renaults image is that bad so long as you don't modify them stupidly. I know the Mini is a great car but I feel the image of those isn't great either.....most of the ones I see round my neck of the woods are owned and driven by female estate agents etc with lots of crap...
