apparently its really straight forward with rear resistors. ive not personally done as im gonna get fred to do it for it me. they just plug straight in and tape them up.
if you need to do the fronts make what you can from this link...
to be fair, if you put in the research, you'll find 99% of the information somewhere on here. i did a load for when i wanted to take my rear seats out and fit my buckets. and it worked a treat - as there was no precise guide. its just a case of piecing it together and using a bit of common sense.
yeah as far as i kwow the ph2 models - not sure on cups - have the tensioners in the rear belt set ups too. need the same resistors as you use in the fronts. 3.3 ohm resistors.
it will put on serv and seat belt lights on on the dash if resistors arent used.
you can take out:
rear bench
boot carpet
parcel shelf
passenger rear door cards which include speakers i think
headliner
all three seatbelts
carpet around the rear struts
plastic mount parts that hold the parcel shelf up
cant really think of anything else
ive got the impla pro's, very similar to the above. there brilliant for every day to day use, and longish journeys. although i did get a bit of back ache 3 hours into a 4 hour journey in them recently. im putting it down to getting used to different driving position compared to standard though.
Re: Project 172 ****
fair enough! im tryind to decide whether to get some for my track wheels, but if its a wet day id be knackered. might just stay with pe2's for them - i really dont know!
lovely example of ph-reebones their. i do like ph1's but for me sometimes they look a bit..old. thats why i went for a ph2, but gotta admit there are a lot of ph1's on this site that are the dogs!
lots. and lots. on a serious note £500 upwards should get you the seats, frames and side mounts if required. obviously the more you spend the better the seats will be.
little update.
got a a new pe2 sorted for the track wheels. £62 fitted i didnt think was too bad. thinking i may need another one as ill have uneven tread around the car. one being brand new and the other are worn down, id say 3-4 mm left on each of them.
ordered helmet at 1pm yesterday...
