ok cool i think i can sort the panels then.
well behind them panels, i presume theres some sort of connection to the speaker, isnt there? what did you do with it?
yeah from what ive read on here its only the phase 2's that had the tensioners in the rear.
how did you get the panels off that cover the belts. is is just simply a case of unscrewing the two screws i think there are and you get access to that area?
what about behind the speakers?
just how i take off the panels with the speakers in, take out alll three belts. is there defo a pre tensioner in the rear belts, if so is is the 3.3 ohm resistor to stop the dash lights coming on to use in them - ie the same as the front ones?
just how to take it all out really.
hey everyone,
i wonder if anyone can give me a few pointers.
i've taken the rear bench out and the seat belt buckles.
i now need to take out the rest of the rear interior.
ie. all three seat belts (including the one in the headlining) and side panels, boot panel.
also, i've seen...
yeah the harness needs to be E or ECE approved i think it's called which basically means it needs to have a normal seat belt buckle to connect the harness together and this clips on your lap.
so in theory it would be safe enough i guess?
as an mot tester would you say i am ok to clip the harness to that hook bolted to the chassis under the seat?
