also, any photoshoppers that come in here, whats the best way to do this?, i used patch tool/patch tool highlighted some of the door n just dragged it down to cover it, this the way? tried blurring it too
its called an e-coat. cant be removed with any solvents whatsoever as it bonds with the actual panel in a lock n key mechanism. has to be physically removed with abrasives.. so rain is fine yes lol
lol i had to take mine out on my mk 1, it was bonded in had to pull it down n get a blade down the back n slice it. the roof was bowing to f**k, lol, v v flimsy. bolloxed all my knuckles up doing that :\
i ran 195 50/15's on a 1.4. fronts didnt rub at all (60 mil drop) and the back did rub on the arch very slightly over speed bumps (80 mil drop) but i just hammered the lip around where it rubbed and it didnt rub again
if your the type of person who likes to have a go at things have a go at filling the holes n getting it in primer? should be able to get just the tailgate painted for 100 or under then :)

sounds like the catch needs undoing and pushing to the left slightly then retightening. as for the headlight out to the bonnet ide say the bonnet needs dropping a little and retightening on N/S
