blend in all colours where you can, but if your painting a bumper its gotta be edge to edge. painting into wings (plastic wings at that) is gonna send it off even worse to possibly the doors and the bonnet
instead of them mixing up the colour to the colour code then selecting the varient they will mix up a colour to match the car itself, adding various tinters til its bang on, doing spray out cards etc. silver is the hardest colour to match so you gotta give or take a little difference in shade...
with some bits done it would look superb.
lower it.
remove lexus lights.
smooth renault badge in front bumper.
debadge & delock the tailgate.
remove door mouldings and smooth.
some euro deep dish wheels
better exhaust that comes out straight and flush with the bumper
uprate brakes aswell though, thats what im sayin you dont just do an engine conversion, you gotta uprate what needs uprating, cheaper to buy a donar car (salvage write off) than to buy the bits seperatly
depends how bad the damage is really and whats left to salvage on it. i mean you can pick up x plate 172's for under 4k, maybe even 3k, so a salvage is gonna be 1-1.5.
but really depends on the smash
probably cheaper buying a written off 172, side/backend or one thats been rolled. strip it down, use brakes, suspension, engine, box etc, sell the interior and anythin salvagable. work out cheaper
basically G3 is for scratches and marks to use on a mop and is lot more coarser paste, G10 is for going over your G3, much more liquid type substance like a slight abrasive polish that will get rid of minor marks. G3 is the cutting compound G10 is polishing compound.
You can get G6 G8 etc but...
i bought 2 xr2i sills from ford for 25 quid i think it was about 3 years ago. really aint expensive parts. if its just a bit thats gone you can get universal sils that you just cut to the shape you like n weld them in. get them from local car spares places
i bought rear quarter about a year ago, ring around different renault places. otherwise try sperious body parts. basically non genuine part but cheaper
