Renault part only, about £5 for the clip and a little more for the spacer aswell (replace both). Prices might have changed though recently.
Its the nearside circlip and spacer that holds the nearside sun wheel in.

Mistake number one was putting a bigger fuse in.
Dissconect your drivers one and switch them on and see if the fuse blows again. Iv had 2nd hand ballasts from ebay that were full of water before causing this problem.
They do get MUCH lighter after a clutch change.
The diaphram goes rusty over time and causes the heavyness. Mine was nearly un pressable untill I put a LUK unit in.
It wont be the fault, i can tell you that now.
The fact the warning lights dont light on the dash indicates the ecu isnt being powered. It will be the relay
I will clear my inbox now. Yes, you need to unclip the board and turn it over to see the wiring. If you get some photographs of the top and underneath of the fuse box, I can tell you which wires to be checking.
The crank sensor has nothing to do with the immobiliser.
Glow plugs wont stop it from starting. The imobiliser is not dis arming thats why its not starting.
I bet you have a rotten/broken wire on the signal earth wire to the injection locking relay in the relay panel under the bonnet.

The xenons were cheap, but needed alot of work to be right again!
