push the actual moulding towards the door (with the door open), and itll pop off and leave 4 clips, turn the clips 90 degrees and theyll come out of the hole to refit, slide the clips onto the moulding and push it onto the quarter

nah, carry it carefully with 2 hands inside it and itll be fine, obviously wont be as flexible as a new bumper but it certainly wont crack if you have a solid backing on it
