Yep,
Cheers to everyone who came, and thanks Pete for organising it, and paying the money up front.
We are playing at the same time next week, if anyone is interested, PM me or Pete.
I'd be up for food after the meet, but probably not camping.
Depends when the E21 comes back, if it's back on my drive, I'll be working through the night to get it done for the meet.
Normally I would agree, but I'll be changing the control arms and tie rod ends, so swapping the damper will be a doddle this time (we can take the control arm off)
Option one
- £118 and covered.
Option two
- £0 and not covered, so if you have a crash your insurance won't pay out and you'll have your policy cancelled, which you'll have to declare for the next few years, which will mean not getting insured by most, and those who will insure you, will...
Nope, I remembered last night that I'm away on the 16th, so I've had to change the drop off date to the 23rd :(
There's a very slim chance that it might be there, but it's looking pretty unlikely :(
Anyone else?

So, Lee came round and had a good look at the car.
All in, (welding, painting and re-undersealing where needed) is £1700.
So I'll be going with him.
Car needs to be stripped and ready for Saturday 16th Feb, and will then take 3-4 weeks to complete.
Already can't wait :D
Got a guy coming over this afternoon to give me a quote for welding and painting.
He's a good friend of my girlfriends dad, who had a lot of work done by him on his Split Screens, his last of which, was absolutely stunning IMO.
Re: Stanced TT Roadster to... not as exciting MK3 Dynamique S 1.6 VVT - Tasteful Pro
That TT is literally amazing.
I actually think it works better as a soft top, suits the almost "poser" look they have.
10/10.
A good mate of mine has said he would play weekly if we get this organised.
Come on, only need a couple more now!..

Got the car back on all fours yesterday.
Arches cleared of underseal now:
Also got a shot of the car without a front bumper. Quick PS of it with the holes on the lower panel smoothed off:
Re: Clear the snow off your roof please
Yep, sound advice.
I see people who don't bother clearing anything but the windscreen. Headlights, tail lights and number plates all covered.
I guess they see it as a "laugh" to drive with as much snow on their car as possible!
