I've never driven a 197/200 so I wouldn't know.
I presume the decreased MPG is due to the extra weight of the Mk3?
36mpg??? I get 40+ from my 182
Just confirmed with Phil that date, I will send a follow up email next Wednesday to set it in stone (just see how many numbers we get, but the response already is looking like we can proceed with it)
You're going to laugh at me here... but I found that Rain-X was just as good at beading on the clio, (it just didn't last as long as G-Techniq) but was better on the Focus, I thought it might be the angle of windscreen being shallower on the Focus, so the rain can pass over it better.
Hope that...
For everyone who enjoyed this, I have organised another day at Shinearama, covering a few different areas.

Hope to see you all there :)
After the success that was the first Introduction to Detailing Day, I have been in contact with Phil. He was very very happy with the day and said he really enjoyed it. Thankyou again to everyone who turned up, we all did CS proud what with the awful weather, and the difficulties with the roads...
I have to be honest Chris, I agree with Toby here, G101 is brilliant, Citrus power if you want to keep some of your wax (my understanding is it does still strip some of it away, despite the claims it is harmless)
Snowfoam has never personally impressed me and my bottle of G101 is the only thing...
Glad everyone enjoyed it.
I'm already in the process of organising the next one, this time a lot more juicy ;) I will report back soon with the details on that.
Here are the photos from the day, sent over by Foxx. (They don't appear to be in order, but you get the idea!)
