I want to retain as much oem as possible, this will be an RB restoration/oem+ project if you like :)
I took them out, like a rebel! ;) so none, is the answer :)
Grabbed a few photos of the upper grille that I bought ages ago with the intention of spraying, just never got round to it!
Cleaned the grille with white spirit and G101.
Masked up the stickers on the top of the grille.

Gave the car a good clean yesterday.
Bought two new things for the cleaning side of things.
Zaino Z7, great shampoo tbh, very very slick and left a great finish from just a clean!

Also got a Woolly Mammoth, so awesome! I'll never look back I don't think...
Just got home now,
Great day, thanks to everyone who came, especially those who came a long way! Was nice to meet everyone, and have some great banter as always :D
Hope the day was helpful for everyone.
Looking forward to their next open day tbh.
Easily the most stupid thing I've read for a while.
I have a similar group postcode as Bren and I know for a fact that I live in a very nice part of Manchester, I'm sure where Bren lives is nice also.
People assume that a badly rated postcode = warzone. I'm lumped with the fact that the "M"...
Don't want to get into it in this thread as it'll end up as a case of:
But, and I mean no disrespect here at all mate, but you're concerned about your license, yet you got pulled doing ***mph.
Just saying mate.
From what I know (which isn't much, ill be honest) swirl marks occur in gloss clearcoat, because the raiders paint does not have gloss clearcoat I doubt the car would suffer from swirl marks, and if it did, would you ever see them with the paint reflecting so little light?
A question to be...
Re: Racing Blue 182's geeting hard to find a good one...
I noticed this recently, not many around and a few people asking for them!
It makes me love mine a lot more, and appreciate it more.
I'll be sure to keep it mint like it is atm, I'm sure it'll pay off come resale time.
Right everyone, just spoken to Phil.
Being a top bloke, he has managed to get in touch with the marathon organisers, after being passed my message from yesterday.
The roads in and around South Manchester will be fully open until 10am, then they will start to close them off as the runners...
Not sure it will avoid them will it?
The route crosses the A56 here: http://g.co/maps/d4fxx
The route you mentioned will bring him out on the Lymm/A56 roundabout won't it?
Snake/Woodhead pass?
That would work fine tbh yeah, allow for plenty of time though mate :)
Must admit, I'm really looking forward to seeing an RB200, not many knocking about tbh!
This is the course map:
http://www.greatermanchestermarathon.com/event-information/course-map
So it crosses your path along the A56 in Altrincham, I'm not sure what time that section of road will be...
Long way to come! I'm impressed!
I assume you are clued up on the problems with the roads around the area at the moment? Manchester marathon is on and is causing headaches :(
