I have what I'm certain isnt a standard exhaust system on my 172, but I'm not so sure it's really a performance item either, as far as I'm aware they dont do pattern exhasuts do they ? So what might it be ? It certainly sounds far more meaty than the standard item which to be honest I'm not that...
Fair play being unemployed owning an RS clio and being able to afford the petrol to drive to the Alps !!
Either way, definately do it ! Would be an epic trip, make sure youve got some breakdown cover just in case !
Awaits photos :)
yeh they are all NGK PFR6E-10's, just cylinder 3 and 4 had knackered tips.
Any ideas why only those 2 were shot and cyl 1 and 2 looked reasonably ok ?

20b Rotary Dragster = 654ccx3 rotors = 1962cc - 6.7 1/4mile
Top Fuel Hemi V8 = 8194cc - 4.6 1/4 mile
Case closed ? :p
Seriously this has gone on long enough now, it's clear some people prefer V8's some don't ! and is so far from the original point now it's pointless, Let's agree to disagree...
Ok if were going down this road..
There are plenty of 13b and 20b Rotary drag cars the run in the 6's
That's like an 8th of the size or less than a V8 :p
