Good man! You'll have access to the guides and sellers section now. Well worth it! Have a search for the washer blanking plates part no in the search bar you now have access to. If you're having trouble give me a private message and I'll get it for you. :)
they're like rocking horse sh*t on eBay too. You might pick up a pair from a Renailt breakers but they tend to sell these with the bumper. Your cheapest option would be the washers from a FF 172. £15 each from Renault IIRC
£60 from Renualt for 2 unpainted! Maybe it won't bother you so much now ;-)
Oh, pay for membership ya tight git, and post this in the wanted section instead.
:dapprove:
Bought a pair of Xenons from Bloooor last week and thought I might as well re-sprayed the front bumper, bump strips and mirrors (minor scuffs and stonechips) while I was waiting for them to arrive. The car was sitting in my Dad's bodyshop until last night when I finally got the car...
Defo. The panel is warped from the middle ridge downwards and along the sill. Fitted a new quarter panel to a MK2 that had less damage than that too ;) I wouldn't worry, it's him that's paying for it anyway.
Just noticing the picures, I'm guessing they don't sell the 3-door version over there? Some tidy cars anyway buddy, sounds like you're chuffed with it and that's all that matters.
That's what I'm talking about.
I can see where he/she was going with it. Almost a beautiful creation. But fails so badly. Be it the shoddy bodykit, or the 'just get it fitted already' impatience. I dunno. B+ for effort.
Man it's fooking ugly.
;)
Just about every V6 replica there is. Not a single person bothers with wheel spacers. It's like they're in denial they exist. Or just can't afford the £50 for them after the £1000 bodykit and the £300 - 400 paintjob.
You won't find a decent splitter for the rear of the car, they all look chavvy to be honest. Focus on finding a nice 172 bumper instead, with a recessed exhaust. You won't regret it.
The front splitters look awesome in the flesh. It's very dominant in those pictures, but in the flesh it's very subtle. I'm glad you never went with the sideskirt add-ons though :)
There could be 1 to 2 grand on top of that in interest if it's Renault Finance though.
I would have a good thought about what AlexS said. It's some sound advice. My mate bought a brand new MK3 billabong and is bored with it already. It's feels too heavy and doesn't shift to save itself. Alot...
A K-Tec lawnmower? Nice
Jealous to say. My Cup has been splitterless since the day I bought it, but the exhaust and springs were my first priority.
It's done after spraying a panel fresh too, to remove all the nubs and imperfections. Then a good G3 polish and a wax and the panel shines perfectly.
Sorry to hear this mate. Stick to the 1500, and so long as you don't go through the basecoat it should hopefully polish up.
edit: Don't be...
Put the car in with the parts so they can match it properly. If you expected an exact match by handing over a part and a paintcode then your ignorance regarding painting is pretty obvious. Silver is a b*tch to march anyway. And just because its named 'xyz silver' by Renault, it could be called...
