As above... I was in a racing blue 182.
If you have any sense you probably wont respond to this, driving like a total dick, undertaking me and running a red light with your fogs on.
Shame on you.
I'm going to pretty much clean the hell out of everything this weekend, I'm changing the oil and filter this weekend along with the sparks, give the throttle body a clean/polish, TDC sensor will get cleaned out, carbon canister replaced.
If it happens again after that, I will report back...
Answered a question I have been meaning to ask you. How much notice do you need to book in? You say you're booked up until April, so a few months in advance or what?!
Glad to hear you're busy though :)
Takes mine about 5 mins in the morning because I'm straight on the motorway so it warms up quicker.
after work takes longer as it's country roads, so about 10-15 mins.
Ah right, well when we blocked that the engine cut out?!
I've got a new carbon canister on order now, so hopefully just replace that and no pipes will need blocking!
As you look at that picture, I blocked off the top pipe, the one that bends off to the top right of the picture, I blocked that off and the engine cut. Is that the one you block? Because it was making a loud sucking noise as it drew air in?
Right, recently my 182 has been playing up a little bit, doing all kinds of weird things, but above all it has been cutting out randomly when trying to start it, i.e. it will start, then cut out immediately. Yesterday it just about started, then after about 30 seconds of driving I started losing...
Must admit I do love a good car advert, and there have been a few in the past, this get's my vote:
This is great too:
What's yours, either viral or TV aired...
I had read that too, but when we blocked the two pipes up, the engine cut out?
It is excessively loud yeah, like you can hear it very clearly in the cabin on idle.
