Few photos from the open pitlane day that was on today. Some nice cars out, but there was a fair few stoppages that got a bit annoying!

Yeah Jon was a big help, Can't of been nice doing your splitter with my drill attachment that works by magic!
Yeah I would've come Rhys, but tbh, couldn't be bothered! Plenty more in the summer!
The car got a mini service yesterday, new spark plugs, oil and a new battery as mine was playing up and it seemed to be on its way out really.
Also changed the carbon box which was tapping away, much better now!
Also managed to get the acoustic valve off too, now running the standard box with...
Shifty, they're really good.
I personally like the style of light painting, where you can't see the light source, so it appears the car is in complete blackness. Your light trails are nice too.
I was going to say tell me about it, but then again, you probably get it worse in Scotland!
Out of interest, how well would C1 work with having a wax on top? Will the wax bond with it correctly?
The rubber hoses have little clips on the end of them, on the side of the clips they have little buttons that you push in, then pull the connector off.
The electrical wire connector just unclips.
We have an Epsom 2880 at work.
Quality is fantastic, permajet paper with custom ICC profile, screen calibrated everyday.
Colours and finish is so good imo.
There might be. But if it's just a hole like it looks like it would be in that photo, then if you pour it the way I suggest, and you're not a complete ape, you won't spill a drop. As I say, we have thinners and lacquers in the same size and shape tins, and that's how I pour it :)
SRS?!
I mean turn the whole tin. So pick it up, so that when it is horizontal as you pour the fluid, the opening is away from the bottle?! You follow what I mean?
The opening will be closer to your face than the floor?!
See picture:
Make sense???
Just watched some videos on Youtube about C1, like how to apply and the results.
It looks pretty epic! I think I remember reading something you posted Gally, about it being trade only, like Aucky said?
No need, if you look at the top of the tin, turn the opening, so when you pour it, it's at the top (that make sense?), it makes it a hell of a lot easier to pour.
We have the same tins at work, I never spill a drop doing it that way.
I loved Neils bus, was great.
We went to the Stamford Hall show 2 years ago, I actually remember meeting Rikki, he goes round in the morning waking everyone up with a megaphone, then groups the convoy together and hundreds of splitties, bays, beetles all head over to Stamford Hall from the...
Yeah yeah, at least I wasn't being a total idiot then! haha
The guys there saying that it takes longer to master, but the long term results and use-ability are far greater than the DA.
When I was watching them use the DA, it looked awkward the way it shakes all over the place, the rotary...
Why do people say that rotarys are so dangerous?
I was at a wetsanding open day the other day and I had a chat to the guys there about the risks of rotarys over DA's and they said that yeah they are more risky, but only if you're a complete idiot with it?!
My understanding is that a rotary is...
Those photos are from a while back. There was a massive storm one night, and the waves came over the front, hit the freezing air/surfaces and resulted in this mess!!!
