Chris n nic, removed the cat and cut the business bit out the middle and welded in a section of tube.
One of the welders at work says he could do it no problem.....Just abit worried about any warranty issues.
Would modded suspension, or grippier tyres reduce/eliminate Axle tramp.

or on a more helpful note - u might wanna check to see what adapter u require to re-instate the stalk controls, they are manufacturer specific ... u should be able to find an answer somewhere on here.
Well depends how u define comfort does it not, having life insurance is a comfort, just like ESP/ABS, and yes the xenons are a comfort too! The light from the xenons is ALOT easier to drive with at night - FACT.
And ur right, the CUP is more than a barebones stripped out racer, if it were...
I picked the 172 for the extras.
lets face it 90% of the time ur sat in traffic - might aswell do it in alittle more comfort.
automatic xenon lamps, digital climate control, leather and alcantera, ABS/ESP/EBD - did it for me :D.

when the autolight are on in mine, pulling the stalk back to flash results in the full beam staying on, till u pull it again.
pain in the arse, cos u cant do a quick flash!
