mines been on for about 8 months now....defo the passenger side cos on the rare occations I carry a passenger it goes out.
bit worried about the fact it might actually deploy:o - surely this should merit a recall, or at least a warning from reno?
Think Ill book mine in ASAP, as it seems its...
r u excited Steve? (no not like that!!)
Id be climbing the walls now, unable to sleep, unable to eat - I was kinda like that waiting for my 172......but a mk2 V6....Id be hyper!:D
I popped the remote antenna for my Snooper on the rear parcel shelf, once its got a lock seems OK.
The "comfort glass" in the windscreen is a pain in the ass!
everythings superior to a RED 172 ;)
Personally having owned 2 x 200 series (dont think the insides changed) Id much rather the 172, again its all down to personal choice.
Oh....and not forgetting performance.
I bought a new 214Sli (R Plate) - Had to have a new engine fitted after 2 weeks cos of a crank problem.
The fitted the new engine - Head gasket blew after 5 miles, they towed it back - Phoned me up couple of days later and said they had fixed it.
I told them I never wanted to see the car...
Still LMAO!!
The Cup is a fantastic car, there is no doubt about it!
but ignoring the money side of things, for the few tenths u get extra - 90% of the time ur gonna be drivin it in traffic or on sh*tty roads, why not go for comfort?
BTW - I am 35 and getting creaky!!
If you really crave...
I am sure my definition of NEW does not include the word repaired!!
I believe the dealer should have an obligation to inform you of any damage they have repaired - Seeing as they ask you when u take urs in as part ex!
When I rejected my Rover, it was only after the replacement engine blew its head gasket that I got anywhere.
You have to give the dealership an opportunity to recify the faults unfortunately - I know I was gutted when mine needed a new engine - just wasnt a new car anymore!
When did you...
Nah mate....I overtook Paddys red one at speeds approaching 55mph :o on the way to Donnington down the M6, he just couldnt keep up!;)
scary stuff I can tell thee!
<<<<<<we were doing nearly 60 when I took that pic!
Yeah Id be interested in one!
seems to be some debate on the actual effectiveness of performance filters though....some say best just to change ur original one on a regular basis.
?????
When the weather clears up abit Brun, gonna try sticking the antenna on the roof with blue tack, and see how it performs.
I really do think its a car related problem, the MK2 has a limited view of the sky at the rear with the rear glass being almost vertical, and u can just forget the front...
I am paying 650 quid F/C with protected N/C for a 172...I have got 13 years N/C.
think I am paying over the ods with direct line - live in WA13 postcode.
yeah Malice, u can push them towards the uncoated spot, I tried that with my antenna, but because it sat some distance away on the dash, it only supplied a "letterbox" view of the sky.
I dont think the 172 is the most gps friendly car.
Not had a total freeze yet Brun, but yesterday I was...
