I had problems with mine blowing slightly from this join but managed to sow it down a bit with a jubilee clip. Not the best fix but TBH I can't be fooked to get under there and mess about....If it gets really bad I'll just get it welded up:D

I believe some bumper sensors for parking can be setup to jam/hold the signal from radar/laser speed detectors. I wouldn't of though that they could ban those.....well, not just yet anyway.

Surely if you leave it disconnected from the box your going to get warmer air entering it. Always cool down near the valve so I'd be inclined to attach it and seal it properly to the box

Unless your fitting an induction kit with it's own CAF removing this is a waste of time....may give you the placebo effect of more power/speed because of the noise but won't affect performance.

I think Renault thought it was time to 'move on' but I think they're going to loose a market with the new model...most of us who enjoy hot hatches aren't going to be shelling out for that.
