You think that's good? My dad took pictures of a Nissan in Mexico with clio front wings, doors, same shape lights but different bonnet etc. I'll post some pictures soon. It's def a clio shell.
Thats weird, the bumpstrip normally carries on a tiny little bit on that kit. Eitherway, it looks awful, and a 1.2 clio should not have had that amount spent on it.
Good luck getting them off. Same happened to mine on the old car, the carbon crack when taking them off and left a sticky glue behind. You need a glue expander to remove it, and whatever you do, do NOT rub the sticky bits off, it leave very fine scratches. I was cursing K-Tec left right and...
Oh aye! looks familiar now!
Strange though, other night a mate and I (He drives a silver 172, k-tek fron grille, lives up my way too) were out for a drive and this 172 cup starts following us. Turns out the guy (Alistair) just moved up last week. So it's great to see a few more sport models...
lol! Steven? Drive's a Lotus Exige and a metallic blue Cooper S. Small world eh? Def have seen your car once or twice! I'm cunfused to where it is you dwell, where abouts in relation to the roundabout just past Dow's are you?
There's 2 black plastic bolts at the top which look like screws, just pull them out with something! Don't worry if they break, you don't really need them. Also, there is a bonnetlid button which just unplugs from the bottom, easy. As for removing the grille, it's just a case of undoing all the...
Monaco blue you say? Never seen it before but nice, my mate will be jealous (his choice of colour). Will be sure to look out for you! Any pics mate?
Also, going to the Inverness meet on Sat?
This seems very dodgy to me, there's nothing cosmetically wrong with the car, so no crash. So why selling?
EDIT: Look at the bonnet picture, the complete ned taking the picture. DODGY AS FOOK.
Cheers for the info! What about a wirebrush, would that be any help?
Just PM'd back mate, are you supposed to be mailed when you recieve a PM, as I never seem to notice the unread part changed to '1.'
Ok, I want to make a start on my engine bay for my 172 Cup. First of all, how do I go about polishing the main lump of the engine? I seen a picture of someones from here, and it looked like the Queen's silver had been used to plate everything.
Also, how do I clean it in general? Surely it can't...
Bargain??? Got my 16's with Toyo tyres, wheel nuts and locking nuts, DELIVERED for £599. Plus, they checked all that crap for me, just sent them based on a '53 clio dynamique.'
