your brake fluid shouldn't get low..unless you have a leak, or the guy that changed your pads/disks let some out and never topped it up...

i would have taken the seat out of the car completely firstly...to get a look at it (4 bolts under the car, and it just lifts out..)

sounds like a pad has slipped from the retaining clip..(apparently this happens all the time in the rear brakes...
have a look at the wear on the disk..in particulat the part of the disk nearest the centre (that shouldnt have any wear on it)...or just look at the pad itself? see if its...
sounds like the clips have went where it links the cat to the exhaust..or the exhaust to the manifold..
look under the car, near the front...you can see two wee clips clamping the sections of exhaust together (they look like wee springs)
give them a shake too see if they are loose..(they...
