Pretty much as the title. I went to get some cash out this evening, and when I returned to the car, it started, then cut out. I then tried again and it wouldn't start, you could hear what I assumed was the starter motor, but nothing else. I was low on fuel, but no fuel light, but I was parked...

In all fairness, they're capable of changing a tie rod. I agree with cambelts, but myself and Jon watched him doing it, and apart from a tie rod that wouldn't come off, they were fine.

If you have alarm sensors yeah they need to be removed, what style do you have? Mine just popped out and then I unscrewed the holder. Pretty easy to remove, bit of force was needed with mine and the clips are sharp so be careful if you shove your fingers behind to try and get them off!
