If you ever want me to take some photos, give me a shout before we go KK's? My camera is half decent.. be happy to take some for you :)
My MK1 Focus was Moondust Silver... god it looked good when it was all detailed up.
Gally, that was an awesome post, I'll use a lot of advice from that for...
Maybe have King Kong on the other side? They could meet on the boot, having a big fight, would be like a comic book driving down the motorway...
because comic book on the motorway!
I did it by researching more more and some more, look at pictures of originals, looks for markers where they start and end. Check my project thread and you'll see mine.
This would be great advice for someone genuine, with an RB. To me this looks, smells and reads like a massive troll!
I do...
Might not want to seek financial gain, a sense of self, and a sense of happiness by seeing his/her work out there.
That said, nobody should be expected to work for nothing. Its a choice. If you work and expect to be paid, then it needs agreeing. If someone promises you pay and then dosnt pay...
Yeah but I agree with the idea that some people simply want to see their work out there, and sometimes people won't pay for it. Bit like a new band saying we want to become famous but we are not willing to do the pubs and clubs.
So the x-factor then?!
Anyone? Guy at work thinks it might be the starter solenoid? Could it be this? Don't want to leave it to chance that it won't happen again? Any thoughts would be appreciated?....
Also, when I tried to start it, it would crank over for a few seconds, then stop. It wouldn't just continually...
Pretty much as the title. I went to get some cash out this evening, and when I returned to the car, it started, then cut out. I then tried again and it wouldn't start, you could hear what I assumed was the starter motor, but nothing else.
I was low on fuel, but no fuel light, but I was parked...
In all fairness, they're capable of changing a tie rod. I agree with cambelts, but myself and Jon watched him doing it, and apart from a tie rod that wouldn't come off, they were fine.
If you have alarm sensors yeah they need to be removed, what style do you have? Mine just popped out and then I unscrewed the holder. Pretty easy to remove, bit of force was needed with mine and the clips are sharp so be careful if you shove your fingers behind to try and get them off!
Nice one, I removed the stripes today as I was growing tired of them :o
I bought the A-pillars already wrapped in alcantara, I love them though, so much nicer than the grey plastic :)
Yeah it started raining while i was cleaning it! Typical, I know just thought may as well do it instead of going on about doing it! haha
Looks awesomes now though :D
After much umming and ahhing about the stripes and if I like them or not, I woke up this morning and thought sod it, they can go, so hairdryer out and 20 mins + a quick wash later, the car looks much better for it tbh.
I do love RB's with stripes, but only ever in photos, everytime I see one in...
