Clearocoat failure is where the clearcoat separates from the base (colour) coat. It can be caused by poor spraying tecniques, a poor repair (isolated area) or thinning of the clearcoat. The clearcoat can be thinned by machine polishing which is why its so important to use a paint thickness...

Looks like cracking of the clearcoat. Could be clearcoat failure. A machine polish won't sort this i'm afraid :(

Went out one night in my cup with 5 CTR's nothing in up to speeds where you might just hold onto your license. Went against A CTR in my CTS and the CTR had the edge but this was at speeds where license loss would be immediate!

Yep stay well away, my rotary starts at 600rpm and ends at 3000. 3000 is far too fast to use on paint. So 4500!!!! Though at that price I would suspect the motor to not be up to much, bof down etc.
