Thanks for your kind comments guys especially Andy, I'm glad you were pleased.
I will be the first to admit the final finish isn't 100% in all areas but given the state of the paintwork before I think its come out rather well :)
Had a little trip to GDI today to detail the GDI clio, rather badly swirled to say the least!!
Paint after claying
The thickness was a good 150 microns all over which gave me plenty to play with. I compounded with SSR2.5 @2000rpm which cleared most swirls but left a few random...
Just a little web site I've put together to show off some detailing.

Thanks to Lee for letting me post this but if it breaks any rules admin feel free to remove
First up how thin was the Nissan paint:doublesho :doublesho :doublesho
On average 100 microns but as low as 84 microns on some panels!!!!!
This was a new car and I suppose shows how well the Nissan robots can lay down thin layers of paint!!!!
Give these very low readings a light polish...
134mph top speed lol!
It looks nice and the undertray is a great idea, its 140kg heavier than the 182so the power to weight should be the same or slightly less. Six speed close stacked box should improve acceleration though :)
He's a proper detailer not a valeter, own detail bay etc
He does charge perhaps more than you expect but wer'e talking 3 stage polish, glaze, wax etc although he may come down in price for less work.
PM me if your still interested.
