I've heard that they can be cleaned with washing up liquid, never done it personally, but if you take them off and wash them like you would an item of clothing, by hand, they're supposed to come up lovely. Not sure if they can go in the washing machine... wouldn't like to say!

Yeah it depends how the stripes are attached, are they adhesive + heat?!?! I think once the first one is on it would be pretty straightforward, use detailing tape as a guide and it'd be reet... we shall soon see :)
