Excuse me! Hope that isn't some sort of innuendo! Not about liquid yellow, its nice don't get me wrong, just everyone sucks it off like its the best colour ever, petrol blue.. now that's where its at! Or resprayed in white ;)
Zero proof that they were replaced, seems highly likely that nwp simply put the old ones back on, I occasionally get tempted by trophies, but its an RB that I want yeah, not even liquid yellow turns my head now!
Nice one mate, glad to hear you've bought it, takes the desicion away from me! It was the drivers side door that bothered me the most, and despite the belts and timing feeling alright, I would still consider getting the belts redone by a specialist, from the paperwork it appeared the belts were...
Loch Lomand is brilliant too, plus isn't too deep into the hills! Depends how far you're willing to go, Isle of Skye is stunning too, and the ferry leaves from Mallaig iirc. Another nice photo opportunity that is little known about is down Glen Nevis, basicially its a single track road that...
Me and Jon.G went to Fort Bill a few years back, the roads up there are brilliant, Glen Coe is a must for the scenery, traffic can be a pain though. If you're going up there the A830 Fort William to Mallaig is perfect! 42 Miles of probably the best driving I have ever done, scenery, smooth(ish)...
I was looking at this the other say and yeah, the car jumping nonsense sounds so stupid! I used to live the driver games, even the touch and go driv3r was good if you used it right, the mental car handling etc, although the idea of fully licensed cars is nice. Probs won't be getting it though...
Obviously NWP are not the most popular name on the forum, but I want to ask some-one who really knows, what exactly is wrong with them? Provided they use the right parts ect?!? they just monkeys or what?!?! :D
Yeah yeah I know cup suspension limits aftermarket coilovers and the like, not arsed about the aero pack, like you say, dead easy to get that. You know anything about Gems, been looked after? Worth the look etc?
Which one are you reffering to? The first car (one in Birmingham) is fine paint wise and is on cup suspension, the one revels posted is standard yeah, from what I can see too.
Yeah not bothered about the splitter, most of them end up damaged, guess that's what they're designed for! Nice one for the info though, I will considor it. That one Revels just sent me is nice, I think thats on Pistonheads atm or possibly Autotrader?! Would I be right in saying thats a standard...
Ah right eh mate, I remember speaking to you, I couldn't get the loan through in time! You enjoying the new car? Right okay, yeah I know people say NWP is okay but unfortunately I've heard more bad things than good, and I mean a lot more! Don't want to hate on them or **** a car off because...
I don't have any trust issues with him, he's fine, but I know, gut instinct and all that! Want one so badly but I think head must rule over heart on this one!!!
Plenty of 182's yeah, but I can't see many RB's though?!? Most are cups (don't want) or have zero service history, I'm happy to get the belts changed, and also the door resprayed, I was thinking £200 for the door? I am feeling a little uncomfortable about it, just want to know more about it!
Hi,
I am looking at buying my first Clio, I have done quite a bit of research on them and know that I want a FF, RB, with good or full service history, ideally belt service already done. Main key points from a personal point of view is that the main paintwork is in good nick, the engine has no...
Here are a few more photos from a last minute meet up at Castlefield arches, Nicolas R26, Jon.G's Trophy, cliojay's Cup and Cookson's Monaco.

Hi all,
Obviously new to the forum, not quite an RS owner just yet, looking for an RB at the moment, so hopefully not too long. Been introduced to here by Jon.G, known him for quite a while, along with a few other RS owners. I've been to a fair few of the meets and Trax for the last 2 years...
