^^Depends how you treat it, If you leave it in direct sunlight it will start to oxides again say 6 months, if you apply waxes with UV blockers and garage then a lot longer. Red absorbs the harmful blue light waves from the UV spectrum which causes the 'bleaching' . Blue cars reflect this...

As Rich says a high oil glaze and carnuba wax will work a treat. This is acar I prepared, not for a show but its 'pretty show car' in its looks!!

Megs pro glass cleaner, slighty better than NXT glass cleaner and at £15 for 55Litres (diluted) its bloody good VFM

^^Nope its the abrasive particles removing the dried on wax stains :D I've been using experimenting with megs hyper dressing - neat recently to great effect! Scuse the stone chips!
