Have to agree, it looked better before, but it's just the wheels for me. More the design, but too much black. Get some f1's and PC them Red or Anthracite :approve:
Ste i'll run it on CLIP for you for a small fee if you want to ease your mind ;)
3 beeps is usually caused by either the door being opened to quickly after deactivation, or is you arm the alarm too quickly after you have turned the engine off. Imobiliser related apparently.
If you mean track seats, then keep an eye out in the FS section. They come up quite regularily. Or ebay? Depends on what you mean by cheap? and I assume you want 2?
Hard to say mate as i'm having issues with mine at the mo, but i've got a constant light. Could be a relay on the way out, or decoder. Have you tried both keys? Changed the batteries?
Pop down to rentech with it and get Mike to run it one CLIP. Immobiliser fault should show up (unless you own...
how do you mean cut the cat out? If it's still functional, i'd just sell it. When they cost around £700 from renault new, there is always a second hand market for them. you won't get much though. Got £30 for mine
second lambda (post cat) does nothing mate. All you'll get is the managment light on if it wasn't there. Just swap them over. Not sure if it's a pain to do on the 172 though. Make sure you have a blow torch handy as they can be a bugger to remove.
If you were more north i'd run a clip test for you. Lumpy idle is a characteristic of the car. If it has a decat fitted it could be due to that. If the car is running fine I wouldn't worry too much, but sticking it on diagnostics would be a good idea to double check there isn't any underlying...
Defo an air leak. Did you put washers under the rear two bolts? Everytime I did that recently the idle was up to around 4k and lumpy. So removed it, made sure the plenum was sitting right and tightened up the bolts. Not sure if it's been noted, but did you put the acoustic valve pipe back on too?
get the gasket kit from NWP as they're much cheaper than the renault ones. You might need a new rear clamp too. Mine was a b**ch to get off, so ended up damaging it :S

Sound familiar?
I've had it on clip and tech 2, both showing no faults (well no significant faults). I've still not had chance to check all the earths (so busy it's pissing me right off ), checked pin 30 on...
when you finally get round to doing the resistors. The cliomod guide is wrong. The Black cable is the earth, and the brown is the live. You might also need to keep your original DS handrake side rail, as the chip thingy on it (caused a fault when I swapped mine over) remains plugged in too. No...
almost sounds the same as my fault that Lee. Put it on clip today and no faults shown :S It's wierd. I'm going to try the decoding ring, but i'm not optomistic tbh :(
