Hi all..
Looking for a bit of advice/tipa on cleabing my engine bay?
Standard 172 with standard filter and everything else so theres a fair bit of dull plastics and a dirty inlet etc.
I dont want to get a hose or anything on it incase the worst happens so im just wobdering how i would go...

Also what sort of money am i looking at for..

If i were you, i'd be looking after my car, whoever done it might be back another night with something more... 'harmfull' that will actually do some damage!
Thanks for the info but it turned out to be the 'inlet solinoid valve' sensor thing above the oil cap. Was lose so ive stuck a bead of silicone around it to hold it still and its running mint again :)
So i just went to nip to the shop and half way there i sttopped at traffic lights, then went to set off at green and the car started spluttering and popping/banging intermitantly and what sounds to be running on 3 cylinders.
Had the exact same thing happen a couple of months ago which ended up...

stripping the boot and a set of lowering spings has made mine feel so much better, along with an OMP wheel :)
