Hi all.. Looking for a bit of advice/tipa on cleabing my engine bay? Standard 172 with standard filter and everything else so theres a fair bit of dull plastics and a dirty inlet etc. I dont want to get a hose or anything on it incase the worst happens so im just wobdering how i would go...

The LY would of been Yellow_Chris' old one, black turinis on it.

Thanks for the info but it turned out to be the 'inlet solinoid valve' sensor thing above the oil cap. Was lose so ive stuck a bead of silicone around it to hold it still and its running mint again :)

Re: Personal Opinion on the best modification done to a 172/182 Performance or Stylin stripping the boot and a set of lowering spings has made mine feel so much better, along with an OMP wheel :)
