And if you get a 1.2 you can always stick a sport grille and possibly bumpers and skirts if your that bothered :) They can end up looking really good tbh

Re: Opinions on 1.2 16v clio's I found that my 1.2 16V was a good wee car but just lacked power, obviously.. As above, get an 04 onwards though, I had a rake of problems with my 51 plate :l mostly electrical mysteries!!

My front foglights never worked on my 1.2. They were all wired up, bulbs in and everything else. they just never worked :/

Ive tried rocking the engine alot, as hard as i can and it doesnt make a sound! abosultely baffled.. Martin, its not that sort of sound.. more a cracking/clattering sound. really hard to explain, ill maybe try and get a video sometime soon if my phone will record the sound!

Ive never heard it in 1st, ive replaced that twisted mount and its not changed anything, ive had the cat - manifold gasket replaced which stopped the banging for about an hour.. Ive given the exhaust a good shake and it doesnt seem to be hitting anything and i cant see any marks where its been...

Hi all, think this is the 2nd or 3rd time ive asked for advice on this noise.. Basically, when i give it beans in 2nd gear, i get into the higher revs, around 4k+ and then theres a loud banging and clattering noise, its almost as if the engine is skipping or missing or something... Reminds me...
