A set of Renault OZ F1's should fit right on... No need to fit foglights because they're pointless. Some people paint the blanks with can sometimes look nice if its a decent colour!

The springs arrived today mate, hopefully get them fitted tomorrow after work if everything goes to plan :) Looking through this thread again makes me wish i bought a cup iinstead of the 172 haha. Just brilliant!

paint your badges back to silver or black, lower it a bit, OZ F1's and a ph2 rear end (lights, bumper and spoiler) sorted!

So my drivers side inner boot has shat itself so i went and bought a new boot, went to get it fitted today and it would appear that i would need to replace the whole shaft as the current boot goes into the shaft. Ive had a quick look on here but im a bit confused now, apparently some are...

If you take the battery out, losen the mounting underneath it, and losen the engine mounting on the other side of the engine, then pull the engine forward and tighten the 2 mountings back up, you'll be fine :) Done it to mine last weekend and made so much difference to the whole feel of the car!

My thoughts exactly.. if i was black or something, with proper wheels then it would look fine. shitty paint and wheels ruin it though! OEM+ is the new body kit :)

Nothing to do with your problem but if your going to do the headlight correction its waaaay easier to leave them in, because they're stuck in the one place and they cant wobble about :) Sorry i cant help with the other problem!

Thats the best 172 on this site i'd say, Perfection. Its really up to you, you can get 172 cups with AC i think, the later ones, mostly Iceberg silver i think. So thats still an option if your interested in one!

Mine does this aswell.. not sure if its the gearbox exactly but i get a slight whine noise off it when im coasting or changing gear at slow speeds!

Does it only do it when the aircon is on? or does it do it when its off aswell? sure someone hasnt stuck something smelly in one of the vents? :P

Just noticed that it does have the cup spoiler. splitter must be broken off! Thanks for the help :)

I would have a look in the guide for the spec info but my laptop wont open the file the guide is on! ive asked them for more pictures which he is going to send me tomorrow. Really want it to be a FF so i can go get it haha.
