I thought about white led's but tbh with my white dials (standard on RSI) it would be naff.
It isnt hard to do at all, There are a few guides. Takes about 45 mins once everythings out the car. The clocks are dead easy to do, just make sure you buy some translucent filter to replace the orange...
I use to be with bell, paid circa £30 last year to drive any other car (was 19 at the time) but now they have done away with it... and i've made the move to the light side anyway (brentacre :))
I'm trying to do a dash conversion. Using a 0.2mm solder and i cant for the life of me get the old led's out! Any ideas? I dont want to risk applying too much pressure or damaging the board.
Nevermind - Seems like more hassle then its worth. I was thinking more mechanically would the car start/run etc. But forgot totally about having no indicator of speed lol.
As above, thinking of doing an led conversion now.
Problem is I may need to drive somewhere half-way through. Can you drive without any clocks/dials in? lol
I understand If I buy a 2nd hand rstuner It needs unlocking (if currently locked)
What happens if I buy one for a different car?
EG - I have a k4m 1.6 16v
and what happens if I buy one locked to a 172/182? How much will it cost me to get it to work on mine?
