Ok. Passenger footwell, there should be a lego block type rubber connector going to the door. Check both sides, I know sometimes this can come loose etc. I have fed uprated speaker wire through the tubing so had to make some adjustments maybe it is loose? I had a simular problem and then...

Could be the wiring loom between door/dash is loose. Check the connector

Nah, it would look even better with an LED in the middle but thats how it is oem.

Mine looks oem, you need to buy a transparent filter and fit/cut it to size to replace the original orange filter. Dont bother sanding the original.
