to be fair so did i used to after washing the car down with nice fresh water after a wet day ,as track grit gets everywhere .....
then spanner check front to back when dry .Its amazing what you find when looking carefully ,but stops those DNF's
I'll say now i wasn't having a pop at phil re his comments on track kit , and look there is nothing wrong with people not fully understanding suspension and the ins and outs , it will always seem a black art to the uneducated or informed , (and i know phil isn't uninformed so that wasn't aimed...
in which case he was a tw4t , the car needed to go to you for inspection or they needed returning ...... within 7 days for refund if bought online or over the phone , after that only if defective upon inspection .
also what other setup have you had ? for similar money you may have been able to attain much better damping control (setup and spring rates are more car/driver dependant in reality on track )
did you need adjustable damping? would a set of b14's with the correct valving and spring rates not...
impressive ..... i usually say people turn into arse hats if not handled in the right way to deal with the issue ...... and if he had spax on the car i would not doubt nothing happened fast
peoples customer handling really shows through when the s**t hits .
He may have well been an arsehat...
As Chip isnt here this week I will say it for him , spax are crap cheap shock , this has been the case for 20 years , they are no better than cheap chinease crap ..... in fact I am stunned that people pay good money for them in fact similar to decent brands .
Alot of people buy it and have no...
Follows a very old ac the other day , and ac are based near me ... as is hmw the garage that supplied that cobra its the dealer I am talking to about the 4c . Hwm has huge history and sells some nice cars ..... also an aston and morgan dealer
Our elise insurance wasnt with a mainstream company and was loaded , greenlight are a broker not an underwriter so in certain circumstances the underwriter may load and the broker has no say ...
IRTA they were already raping me on the premium , in fairness you can never compare insurance from one person to the next as everyone is in different circumstances , with regarde to accidents ,convictions age ,occupation, where you live , length of time driving , cars in the household ....... no...
I can second this as not being always true , when one of our elises was hit it substantially loaded the policy , the car was written off , but was entirely settle by the 3rd party .... and it was a least £100 pa more because of it (and we aren't youngsters)
Claim for ongoing insurance costs and devaluation of your car due to accident repair .... that should stop you not having money to pay for the 5 years of loaded policy you will incur
The big off when lauren t-boned one of the other girls .... had words about that ....first rule aim for where the car starts to spin ... you'll miss them .... try and go round and your fucked
And with deep pockets you would buy a megane as a toy .... especially a track toy ......errrrrrrr I think not
It would be way down the list r26r excluded
nothing to say it wasn't the same guy LOL , his talent was nowhere near keeping up with a bloody fast car and from the passenger seat there is bugger all you can do , once you have been quite insistant about something twice and its been ignored then i am outta there at those sort of speeds.
my worst moment giving instruction ever and the only time i have asked someone to go back to the pits was a cerbera at coombe ...... and yes i COULD see what speed we were doing !!
i agree he wasn't a total numpty , but he certainly wasn't good , i still beive he looked down at the clocks on the fastest part of the circuit where a secondary glance will mean you cover considerable ground .
it was in my view an accident waiting to happen from his first outlap overtake ...
yet i have done many RMA track days where you can pass left or right , and never ever felt that there was an issue and they have an excellent safety record ...... respect ..... even test days , rarely have i seen it bad ....
and if its on finance or you can't aford to bin it , insure it , if...
i don't think he did , the car was settled fairly well but then drifted slightly right ,
she says how fast are we going ...... a second pause and the car starts to drift right , and he then says i am not looking .
I hope you weren't being serious there , but alot of those line were not great , his attention to what was going on around him being poor started from the off. Very poor track day driving with little consideration for others , so what if the corsa did not want to let him past , back off and then...
I have driven the ex formula woman race cars .... lauren on here who now has the gt86 raced them in it they are epic to drive very hard if you dont own it .....
One with an ls7 sounds interesting ... hummm
the reson i have not seen one single warning is i never ever use the hotmail account linked to my msn/windows live messanger account .....
why would i need to log into hotmail , i have my own mailserver .
not seeing moving to china as an option ..... fired back up yahoo messanger , thats also supposed to work with FB friends , but alas ....no its no ......
i actually use this crap for work to communicate when working from home ,so its actually a pain .
you can , but if you had yahoo contacts in MSN it has not transferred those across to skype ....
time to run a completely different client to have them all .....
shame IM pro + does not have a downloadable client rather than a web based one .
wtf do they have to mess with s**t .........
happened last night and its bloody annoying as i havn't got all my contacts across as some were share to msn from yahoo .....
complete ballache
