All im saying is i remember a clio 197 owner taking his to twingogeekeo (renault dealers) on clio197.net to have one fitted and it turned out it wouldnt fit and it required a different boot.

Look down the side of the engine gearbox side, theres a slot in the gearbox bellhousing the sensor is bolted just above this slot with the tip pointing into the slot where the crank is. I normally clean the tip with abit of wirewhool and carb cleaner, and make sure electrical connections on the...
well if thats picture of the bulb currently in your head lights then they d2s xenon bulbs and will fit in the projector headlamp, god knows how its fitted in the reflector lamp
Like ive said, start using thr slot for a period of time and then try without and see if it sorts it. On the other hand it maybe a problem with circuit board as there prone to break. Take it youve changed the batteries already
I think people that never use the slot eventually have problems with the car not detecting the card, once they started using the slot again it started working again the odd time they didnt use the slot.
Have a look at the lower arm link, it a short bar connected to the arm, mine went on mine and got no ends of a loose knocking noise. Cheaper part aswel
