the idea of the auto function is it gets louder as you drive and quieter as you come to a stop, if you go into the expert menu you can turn it off

or measure the length/size of spring and get one from elsewhere

sounds like the electrical plug isnt plugged into the throttle body, my 197 did this when i forgot to plug it in.

new door handle im afraid, they only did seperate buttons on the megane i beleive. you could always check the connectors for corrosion on the pins etc, the main plug is by the hinges and there will be one inside the door (behind the door card) next the handles mechanism.

well most companys ask for accidents or convictions in the last 5 years some 3 years, or is voiding a insurance policy more serious?

dont you have to recode the key/reader when you replace either

its the good renault technicians with common sense that leave reanault for a specialist or start up on there own. four ashes managed to find a knocking on my 197 within minutes that renault wolverhampton couldnt find.

you willing to travel? i had my 197 done at tdf in near cambridge, its about an hour away from birmingham. they maybe other places that do remapping, but i prefered to take it to someone witch specialise in renaults

if yours is a phase one then yes, but it just may want cleaning with carb cleaner as it may be carboned up.

if its a cup it wont have it, and im pretty sure it was the later 172s that had traction control/cruise control

what makes you say it had sat nav, because 172/182 i beleive dont have sat nav

what about early r27s, i would of thought they came with the earlier box? the cups have the revised box as they didnt make them til after the the first lot of r27s. and the r27 is basically a FF (ie non cup) with cup pack (standard) but doesnt come standard with climate xenons etc as they are...

yeh sound mate. i may take abit for it to register thou as it early. lol

unfortunately theres no removeable idle control valve as the throttle body is electronic (not cable) and whole throttle body is a sealed unit. i would suggest taking it to a specialist and getting it on diagnostics. could be a faulty throttle body or faulty pedal at a guese. you can get a second...
