Tried that mate, had to use the above method to get it out in the end. Still cant manage to get the wiper arm off though :o May end up just cutting it off in frustration as it is a spare bootlid....

Trying to remove the rear wiper motor guys.. Got the rear fascia off but why are these 10mm nuts not frecking undoing? They just seem to be spinning and not coming off?

Prepping a new bootlid/tailgate for spraying but got a few questions. - Its in gunmetal, my car is 632 silver (gris boreil), so it is darker than my paint, should i prep it all or just wet/dry the front? because some of it will be covered up and hardly seen.. - should i remove the wiper motor...
