Seen a nice Mk2ph1 rsi 1.6 16v .... good price and agreed to p/x mine. Going to see it soon, but its a long way away (200 miles) so i want to know what should be looking out for as i plan to view it, p/x mine and drive away the same day.
Any major things to look out for? full service history...
Been trying morethan, seem very cheap. Did a virtual quote (ie... if i did have 2 years driving experiance etc etc...) it came to £580 3rd party!! :eek:
Yeh a mk2ph1 1.6 16v rsi. Hopefully in silver or black. Not bothered about aircon etc. Just want the power :)
Dont like the vts/vtr/106 due to their chav image. Think im gnna go for an rsi! Now just to phone insurance company when there open... ive got a feeling they wont give me a decent quote though so ill have to wait till my renewal in febuary
Been looking at a clio rsi... insurance is dead cheap for me in febuary!!! is there anything else i should be looking at that faster/a better choice for the price?

OK basically was installing an led number plate illumination light when i touched the 2 wires and managed to cause a short circuit i think as now the number plate light and left side rear light do not work! all other lights/electricals seem to be working alright!

Managed to pick up a headlight holder from the scrappies for £1... but they only had the 1! :(
Btw, i cant for the life of me get the servo to work on one of the headlights? The headlamps move freely within the diaphrams and the servo works fine itself... but once plugged together it has no...
This had no adjuster motor (having to use the old ones, but i suppose they work just the same) and none of the bulholders. I think i did get ripped off a bit and have sent the seller a pm as i bought it in good faith and specifically said im doing a conversion!
