Recently installed a fli active 12" sub.... However, recently it has started "popping" randomly, it is most noticeable when the volume is low or there is no music on. Its very random and just sounds like someone is stuck in my boot knocking trying to get out! The sub still sounds really good...

Oh cool, ill just wipe it down with a cloth before laquering. Cheers ... will probly go and give it some licks of laquer soon. Ill let you know how it goes.

I want to paint the outer mirror covers, so I need a step-by step on how to remove the mirrors and then dismantle them to spray them without breaking them. They are manual mirrors off a mk2ph1 1.2 7v grande btw. Cheers.

took it out.... the 2 bolts that held it to the chassis were a b**ch to remove!!!! now the boot looks weird as the boot carpet doesnt quite cover it all lol!

Thinking of taking this out, does it really not affect the rear seats? Anyone got any pictures just so i can make sure im removing the right think?! cheers.

Yeh ive had them for about 1/2 months, got them with my new alloys. There great! Grip in the dry is unreal and there still alright in the wet, you just shouldnt get too carried away! Then again, i did come from budgets so im bound to find them a huge improvement

Yes. Upon further inspection i started the car approx 20 times today and it only did it twice. Is it worth mentioning I recently installed a sub (approx 2 weeks ago)... and more recently I left the interior light on overnight which drained the battery but after a jump start it recharged? Oh...
