Wire in a new circuit from thew battery, wiht a fuse box, that way everything is individually fues and you have a power supply for anything else you may need
Why the hell dont you just sand it down, when i did my exterior trim, i smoothed it off wiht 80 frit sandpaper, then 240 grit grey ali/oxide,a nd the finally 600 grit wewt an dry, toom me about 10 mins to do each baseplate, and cost pence.
Surley as the dash flexes the filler will...
Ouch!!
Thats gonna hurt you when you come to get insurence on another car.
Its little tw*ts like that that only get satisfaction from other peoples greif. These are the sort of tw*ts that when someon has been stabbed, would just go up and kick them in teh gut for the hell of it. Pure scum...
Took some time to complie my wish list for my car, my aim is SQ, rather than volume.
I want to stick to Alpine, i know folks will say other brands are better, but its just personal prefrence.
Here is what ive picked out:
Alpine SPX-177A - Components - £265.44...
2 channel alpine amp ill prolly end up getting, might uprate the components, 50W rms seems abit low for all my mid and treble - 2 channel 2x225w max, mailto:2x110w@4ohm">2x110w@4ohm - £230
Im looking at kitting my car out wiht alpine, not the best thing to buy if you have a small budget, im kinda going mid range, want some 200w max 6.5" components - these alone are £120.
Think Alpine amps usually come in around £200, but not sure, aint checked prices for months
Not sure on alot of it, spare wheel, you can oly fial if its in crap condition on the cra, the tests specifies checking the spare (if there is one).
Air filter should be fine (i think)
I would imagine lights would be ok as long as everything works
Surley it would just reset it, how is it going to suddenly know that you have an IK??
It will just go back to factory settings surley, and woudl it it not already be on factory settings?
Im going for just springs, know loads of people who have mk1s dropped 35 and 55mm on just springs and the ride is fine, no probs, why spend an extra £200 when you dont have to?
1. They are about £60 odd quid cheaper than demon tweeks, who btw say spax dont do an adj dampening kit for the mk1
2. go 55mm
3. no idea, do it yourself, not too hard
4. none, you may get a bit when you have 3 ppl in the back, but nothing major
Yeah mine is as nopise as f**k, sounds really great in underground car parks, or when you blast it throuhg narrow roads wiht houses rihgt up on either side
An insurence comapny, who clisport used to ahve dealing wiht through a bloke called Phil, untill he got sacked. Very cheap quotes from him by all accounts
i drive 90% of the time in the outsdie lane, but if the inside lanes are clear i will move acfross, but will not move into the middle land fior a few mins and then back out again
They make a massive difference to sound, if you look in my for sale post about them, i have some sound clips of mine on my 1.2, even make a noticable difference to speed.
Im aking and selling them for all the mk1 clios, for the low price of £30 each
